Welcome to Focus IQ . These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Focus IQ Manager mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Focus IQ Manager, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Focus IQ Manager is a time-tracking and productivity analytics application designed to help managers track their work activities across structured categories. The App allows users to:

  • Log time entries with start/end times, categories, and tasks

  • View daily, monthly, and yearly summaries of time spent

  • Configure custom task categories and templates

  • Export data for analysis

  • Access premium features through optional in-app purchases

3. Local Data Storage

Focus IQ Manager stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your time entries, notes, or any personal productivity data to external servers. You are solely responsible for:

  • Backing up your device to prevent data loss

  • Maintaining the security of your device

  • Any data loss that may occur due to device failure, app deletion, or other circumstances

4. Free and Premium Features

Focus IQ Manager offers both free and premium features:

  • Free Version: Limited to 50 time entries with basic functionality

  • Pro Version: Unlimited entries, advanced analytics, and data export capabilities

Subscription details, pricing, and billing are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective terms and conditions.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to purchase a Pro subscription:

  • Payments are processed through your App Store or Google Play account

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings

  • No refunds are provided for unused portions of subscription periods

  • We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with advance notice

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes

  • Provide accurate information when using the App

  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

  • Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service

  • Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, is owned by Focus IQ Manager and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

  • Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any data or information

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOCUS IQ MANAGER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use

  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

  • Damages resulting from data loss or device malfunction

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Because all data is stored locally on your device, we do not collect or process your personal productivity data. However, we may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details.

11. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Update, modify, or discontinue the App or any features at any time

  • Modify these Terms with notice through the App or our website

  • Require you to accept updated Terms to continue using the App

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to premium features for violation of these Terms, though your locally stored data will remain on your device.

13. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for third-party services or their practices.

14. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations when using the App.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Focus IQ Manager regarding the use of the App.
